Through the process of coaching, individuals focus on the skills and actions needed to successfully produce their personally relevant results.” When applied to stress management and wellness coaching, the goals are typically geared towards helping people improve their well-being including fitness, nutrition, weight, stress and health.
“Professional coaching is a distinct service which focuses on an individual’s life as it relates to goal setting, outcome creation and personal change management.” Therefore, coaching is NOT therapy, consulting, mentoring or training.
